The basketball season is quickly approaching and the fun and excitement is just around the corner. We have a few events coming up that I want to make you aware of. Our “Meet the Bearcats” night is Tuesday November 3, and the schedule is as follows:
5:00 – 5:20 7TH GRADE GIRLS SCRIMMAGE AND INTRODUCTIONS
5:25 - 5:45 7TH GRADE BOYS SCRIMMAGE AND INTRODUCTIONS
5:45 - 5:50 JR. HIGH CHEERLEADERS INTRODUCTION
5:50 - 6: 10 JR. HIGH GIRLS SCRIMMAGE AND INTRODUCTION
6:15 - 6:35 JR. HIGH BOYS SCRIMMAGE AND INTRODUCTION
6:40 - 6:45 SR. HIGH CHEERLEADERS INTRODUCTION
6:45 - 6:50 DANCE TEAM INTRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCE
6:50 – 7:20 SR. HIGH GIRLS SCRIMMAGE AND INTRODUCTION
7:20 – 7:50 SR. HIGH BOYS SCRIMMAGE AND INTRODUCTION
Immediately following the Jr High girls scrimmage we will have a parent meeting in the high school auditorium. This will allow us to go over things you need to be aware of for the seasons. We would like at least one parent for each player present if possible.
On Friday November 6 we will have the “Meet the Bearcats Banquet”. It will be located at Brookland Baptist Church. It’s a formal dinner where we recognize all our players and teams and have a dinner. All players attend for free, tickets for everyone else are $25. If you would like tickets to attend, send the money with your child and we will give them the tickets to bring back to you. There is a silent auction before the banquet as well, so if you know of any item that you could have donated to the booster club for the auction please let us know.
